Mildred M. G. Olivier, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Mildred Olivier is a nationally noted glaucoma specialist treating patients in Chicago and its suburbs. A Chicagoland native, Dr. Olivier has extensive specialized training and experience in treating all forms of glaucoma and related eye diseases. She maintains thriving practices in both Chicago and its northwestern suburbs. Dr. Olivier serves as assistant clinical professor in the department of ophthalmology at the Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Center and Cook County Hospital. She is affiliated with Alexian Brothers Hospital, St. Alexis Medical Center, and Northwest Community Hospital in the suburbs. She is affiliated with Mercy Hospital, Michael Reese Hospital, Magna Surgical Center and Illinois Masonic Hospital in the city.

Dr. Olivier is board certified and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association. She is also a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the worlds largest and most important eye health and vision research organization.

Dr. Olivier completed her medical residency in ophthalmology at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center/Harlem Hospital in New York and her fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. She is frequently called upon to present lectures and seminars on glaucoma and related topics to physicians and patients. Dr. Olivier is a published medical authority with articles in professional journals of ophthalmology.

In addition to her busy practices and academic responsibilities, Dr. Olivier has a strong commitment to community outreach and humanitarian causes. She conducts regular medical missions to Haiti and serves on a number of national voluntary health organization boards.
